What is Mevo Subscribe, and how is it different from Mevo Share?
Mevo Subscribe provides you with a dedicated vehicle available to you full-time, 24/7.
Mevo Flex and Mevo Loop are services on our Share network that allow you to access any vehicle at any time using the Mevo app.
Please note that Subscribe vehicles do not include the perks of Share vehicles, such as fueling/charging, city parking, and more.
Is this a Mevo-branded vehicle?
No. Vehicles on Mevo Subscribe do not have any Mevo branding on the exterior.
Do I need to use the Mevo App?
No, you'll receive the vehicle keys when you pick up or accept delivery of your vehicle.
Is there a business option?
Yes, we offer a business option for organisations needing Subscribe vehicles. Please contact our team at [email protected] or chat with us in the messenger for more information.
What is the difference between car leasing and Mevo Subscribe?
Unlike leasing a vehicle, which typically requires a 3-5 year commitment, Mevo Subscribe offers a flexible month-to-month subscription with no long-term lock-in. You can cancel your subscription with 30 days notice.
How do I Subscribe?
Select your vehicle and Subscribe plan. Once you've submitted the details, you'll need to be verified by signing up and being approved for a Mevo account - if you don't already have one. We will also perform a credit check to verify your financial history.
How soon can I get my Mevo Subscribe vehicle?
Once you are verified, your vehicle will be ready for pickup at our designated locations in Auckland and Wellington within 7 business days - but usually sooner. For deliveries, the timeframe will vary by location and trucking availability.
How am I billed for Mevo Subscribe?
You'll be billed for the first month of your subscription when you collect the vehicle. Until you cancel your subscription, we'll bill you on the monthly anniversary of your start date.
Are there other vehicle models available?
The list of available vehicles can change depending on availability and seasonality. Please check our site regularly for updates.
What if I damage the vehicle?
Please pay close attention during the inspection when you collect the vehicle. Our team and you will log any pre-existing damage on the vehicle.
If minor damage occurs during your term, please report this via email at [email protected]. For major damage, please report this immediately to our team and await instructions. Any unauthorised repairs to the vehicle may incur further charges.
What if there is a mechanical issue?
Our team will verify the issue and give you further instructions within 48 hours. If it is a genuine manufacturer's issue, we will arrange for a replacement vehicle to be delivered to you. Please note that delivery will depend on location and feasibility.
What if I incur speeding or parking tickets?
Any infringements incurred by your vehicle will be automatically forwarded to your email within 10 business days of when we receive them.
Do I have to be in Auckland or Wellington to access Mevo Subscribe?
No, you do not. While free pick-up options are available in Auckland and Wellington, we can deliver the vehicles almost anywhere in the North Island. Please contact us for South Island availability. Note that delivery fees may apply depending on your location.
What if I go over the monthly allotted kilometres?
Each Subscribe plan comes with allotted monthly kilometres. The total kilometres travelled are calculated at the end of the Subscribe term, when you return the vehicle to us. Any overages beyond the allotted kilometres will be billed at the overage rate for your plan. For example: a vehicle with an allotted 1,500 km per month will have 4,500 km included if it was returned after three months.
Am I responsible for maintenance?
During the vehicle handover, our team will give you a maintenance schedule and a list of authorised service centres to ensure your vehicle is running properly and meeting warranty requirements. You won't need to pay for routine vehicle maintenance.
Who pays for fuel/EV charging?
You are responsible for the fuel or electricity used during your subscription. For EVs, you'll be able to use the included home EV charger to charge the car at home each night for a much lower cost than petrol.
Who pays for Road User Charges (RUCs) for EVs?
Alongside electricity to charge the car, you will be responsible for the vehicle being compliant with the Road User Charges.
How do I use the Home Electric Vehicle charger?
Please ensure you operate the take-home EV charger with care and according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications which will be provided to you.
What about longer trips and fast charging?
When you subscribe to an EV you'll receive our free guide on planning longer trips and using fast chargers - it's easy to get anywhere in NZ in our modern EVs with a couple of quick charging stops on the way.
Can I add an attachment to the car (e.g., attach a roof rack, bike rack, etc.)?
You can add some attachments, such as a roof rack or a bike rack, to the vehicle. Please take care when installing any of these features to avoid damaging the vehicle and incurring a reconditioning fee.

How do I end my subscription?
Please provide us with 30 days notice so we can arrange the return of your vehicle. If you cannot meet the 30-day notice requirement, please contact our team at [email protected].
How many vehicles can I subscribe to?
The number of vehicles you can subscribe to depends on the vehicle model and the length of the subscription. If you need more than two Subscribe vehicles, please contact our team at [email protected] or chat with us in the messenger.
